Labour Relations Practice
This Qualification is the second step in a learning pathway that underpins a career in the Labour Relations arena. A large number of the competencies developed in the Qualification is rooted in actual workplace practice and should lead to greater productivity resulting from the improved performance by the learner, due to the integration of the knowledge mastered with workplace practice.

Duration: Full-time students can complete the qualification in one academic year and Part-time students can complete it in 2 academic years.

How many students are in each class?
All courses have a minimum attendance limit of 6 students per class.
Classes held at our onsite training facility can accommodate up to 12 students per class.
Larger classes can be arranged for employers who prefer to have classes at their premises or at another larger training facility.
What study methods are available?
Employers can choose between two study methods for their employees:
Method 1: In-Person Classes
Employees must attend a physical class with a course lecturer. Classes can be held at the employer’s premises, the Law Focus @ Work training facility of any equipped training facility hired by the employer for training purposes.
*Method 2: Online Classes
Distance learning with downloadable study material and internet support teaching with our course lecturer.

What skills or prior knowledge do employees need before enrolling?
Most courses welcome complete beginners, though some require experience with a specific subject or a minimum NFQ qualification. Each course’s description will say if additional experience or qualification is needed, and you are welcome to enquire if you are unsure.
Proficiency in English is required for all courses.
What study material (textbooks/stationery/software) is needed?
Fees include textbooks and course papers, but excludes stationary and software (MS Word, Excel, etc.).Β
