What is the aim of Skills Development?

  • The aim of Skills Development is to improve the working skills of South Africans so that the economy can grow and all South Africans can live a better life.
  • Skill development is a process of identifying your skill gap and ensuring you develop these skills. Your skills determine your ability to execute plans and achieve your goals. Organisations that encourage skill development have a stronger workforce, employees are motivated and engaged, and have higher productivity.

Staff Training and Development is essential from the viewpoint of making your employees up-to-date with the advancing technology. Whether industrial, marketing, or commercial, every sector depends on technology to enhance human capital, gain a competitive edge, and ensure employee satisfaction. The Advantages and Disadvantages of Training and Development detail further about how it shapes the employers and employees.

With proper assistance and training employees can boost the company’s productivity and gain experience and rewards. A highly skilled and efficient workforce can take an organisation to script new success stories

IMPORTANT NOTICE: A Workplace Skills Plan (WSP) & Annual Training Report (ATR) submissions are due no later than 30 April 2022.
